The heroes had a lot of help from their companions and only achieved victory by the skin of their teeth. However, those victories come with a few caveats. At the end of their stories' first chapter, the heroes achieved their first major victory: Luke destroys the Death Star while Ichika defeats the Silver Gospel. In the beginning of their stories, both characters find themselves at the beginning of a new chapter in their lives: Luke starts his Jedi training and Ichika starts attending the IS Academy. Let's compare Ichika's story to that of Luke Skywalker ( Star Wars). Whenever he fights, he is guaranteed to lose almost every time, and in the rare case he wins, it's either through sheer dumb luck, by the skin of his teeth or by getting help from more experienced fighters. What do I mean with that? Ichika wants to become strong so that he can protect the people he cares about and not be a burden to his sister, but because the story is a romantic comedy, he's stuck in the role of butt monkey and he has to suffer the brunt of physical comedy over and over and over again. Ichika himself has a strong foundation as a character, it's just that the story itself works against him. Ichika isn't a bad character, at least on a conceptual level. If you're reading this post, I assume you've watched the entire Infinite Stratos series, including the OVAs, and if you haven't, then honestly, I don't care. What caused me to change my mind? Well, let's hop in and find out, shall we? At first, I liked making fun of him and used him as an example of the harem protagonist archetype gone wrong, but after re-watching the show, I realized that Ichika isn't really that bad.
I've rewatched the entire Infinite Stratos series from beginning to middle (there are still no news on when are we getting season 3), so I had time to re-evaluate my feelings on Ichika. I wanted to use this opportunity to talk about our boy Ichika. Hello, everyone and welcome on my first post on the Infinite Stratos subreddit. If you are planning on purchasing the Season 1 battle pass and start grinding hard from the very first day, you might be worried if all that progress will be lost upon the full release or if all your battle pass levels and unlocks will carry over into the final version of Halo Infinite. Will Halo Infinite multiplayer beta progress carry over? Your battle pass progress will carry over into the official release. Developers 343 Industries want to create a big community around the game's multiplayer, and that's only possible with a F2P model.
